Local Manufacturing Company selects Cleveland Photographers to a Shoot Off

We’ll recently found out that Stata Productions was selected from as many as 24 photographers to be called upon to be one of three finalists to shoot a chosen product .  The selected photographer will be awarded the opportunity to be the “dedicated” photographer for this Eastlake coin bank manufacturer.   With the help of Jeff Slater’s graphic design company: http://www.fridgeartcreative.com Jeff was able to take several  layers of my  photography  and combine them into a finished piece.  We are currently waiting to hear the results of this shoot off. Here are a few samples._mg_3820_mg_3825_mg_3835

Cleveland Photographer and Designer product Outdoor Toy Products

I just came up with all the images to show some of our toy product design and photography.  With the help of fellow artist

http://www.davepotokar.com/ Dave Potokar we came up with some great designs for a local outdoor toy company’s line of kids toys.  From sketch, to design, layout, photography http://www.stataproductions.com helped our client to get to the retail store shelves.statahuntsmanhuntsman_waterfowl_finalhunter_standee_mg_4183_mg_5926_mg_5956

Cleveland Editorial Photographer Shoots Controversal Cover

april-09

We were commissioned to shoot some controversal photography for a current magazine in the Cleveland – Akron area last month.  The article was just published and here are a few samples of my work.  april-cover-story-1

I had done some testing before this shoot.  Coming up with some very grainy shots…. which you may have seen

on my facebook page…. I think it was a little to much and the final shots the artist used worked out well.

Cleveland Professional Photographer has been busy shooting sporting good products.

HC_MarchAd1

We’ve been shooting sporting goods products in the studio and in the field – sometimes very cold – lay on the ground to get the angle freezing cold.  Of course if anyone knows me – waterfowl products shots are right up my alley…. or swamp

Whether we’re shooting decoys or attire or soft goods – it always gets interesting shooting over water.

It’s also nice to have the lighting control and temperature control to shoot in the studio – especially in the middle of winter.

Cleveland Photographer and Graphic Designer work up a great Holiday card

We – Dave Szalay http://www.szalaydesign.com/ and I just finished working up a great holiday card for a client in Cleveland Ohio.

Our client had a very strange looking (but cool) looking hairless cat.

His idea was to get a background and drop himself and his fiancee into the scene with the cat (cats) pulling the sled.  So I found a winter scene in Medina Ohio and pulled the rest of the photography off in the studio.  Dave put everthing together and we had the cards printed.  Everyone was happy.

Cleveland Photographer Shoots Medical Products

We just finished up with some high end medical products designed for the spine industry. Working in the studio at Stata Productions we were able to make this
equipment sparkle. We have been shooting quite a few medical prototypes for companies
in the Cleveland area and out of state as well.

After we decided on which images the client wanted I had Dave Potokar from http://davepotokar.com/ outline all the products.
There was quite a lot of outlining but the client was very happy with the freedom this allowed him for future needs.

Chicago Cleveland Finally Warmed Up

Since it’s been a month – I’m going to post this backwards. Just got back from another job in Chicago, and yes
it’s actually warmed up. Shot out to Chicago for a local company via United. I promised myself that I would drive but I found
myself in baggage hell again. The shoot went well and we made our connections with time to spare.

We also did some product photography on location in one of Cleveland’s thousands of manufacturing facilities.
Promoting the product in interesting places.

The middle of the month found us at cleveland’s IX center shooting a trade show for the conveyor company from Kentucky.
Quite the machine. Trade show and event photography can be interesting. Working fast with very little equipment.

I shot some executive portraits on location for a local software system firm. Client was new and there people knew what
they were doing. Believable portraits usually on the first shot.

We also did some new product photography for a local advertising firm. They have a client that produces protection for
car doors in parking garages.

I also throw in a sample of some artwork that we shot. This particular piece was from Paula Pindroh. Check her work
out at paulapindroh.com. Very interesting and talented artist.
