Just finished with some new on location shots of lighting products in the greater Cleveland Ohio area.  Testing of products and products in use.  Pretty cool.

We’ll recently found out that Stata Productions was selected from as many as 24 photographers to be called upon to be one of three finalists to shoot a chosen product .  The selected photographer will be awarded the opportunity to be the “dedicated” photographer for this Eastlake coin bank manufacturer.   With the help of Jeff Slater’s graphic design company: http://www.fridgeartcreative.com Jeff was able to take several  layers of my  photography  and combine them into a finished piece.  We are currently waiting to hear the results of this shoot off. Here are a few samples.

We - the creative director and myself just finished shooting lighting products on location in Leavenworth Kansas - just outside of Kansas City.  Yes there were many correctional facitilies there.  We shot from ground level and also up in a 60 foot bucket truck.  60 feet does not sound that high until your up there and the wind kicks up.

We ended up jumping right into shooting the first nite we flew in…. rain was coming and it did for the next couple of days.  Never hurts to have a few rain days scheduled into a shoot.  Our days usually lasted into the next morning - like 1 or 2 am.

The final nite was indoors.  We were shooting LED lighting on a new refrigeration product.  We had hired a few models to help with this project and again it was a late nite.  The ladies worked out well with the shinning star was little Sarah.

Where did the month of February go? It seemed that I spent the month shooting events. People networking,
people receiving awards, and people just having fun. Not what you would call exciting photography but I have
always loved getting people to mug for the camera.
At the beginning of the month I took off with a client to see the country’s largest outdoor sporting trade shows
in Vegas. What a show it was. If it had to do with outdoors it was there.

As it turned out a broadcast to several clients that I had time to shoot in Vegas landed a fun job. A major lighting company
was in need of some of their properties.

Then it was back to Cleveland for some major law firm location shoots. We shoot quite a few portraits and headshots in
our business but it’s always more rewarding photographing people on the job. We had a chance to photograph Bill Brooks
of Hyatt Legal at his place downtown. Great guy and great place.

Of course we had several calls for model portfolio and pulled out some great shots in the studio. I’m always trying to reinvent the perfect headshot.


We finished up heading over to the east side of Cleveland and shot for Meyers Roman and shot some portraits and an
announcement for three new partners.

It won’t be long before we’ll be shooting a few weddings this season - mostly for clients but I’m adding Robert Kramer’s
