Just took a few minutes to upload some great shots from the Canton Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony. We shot for some very long days and there was quite a bit to capture.
Once again thanks to Studio 7 photography: http://www.studio7photography.com/ we helped to shoot the Canton 2009 Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony and game the following nite. As always lots of shots and lots of fun… the rain held off and all our equipment stayed dry. We covered the ceremony, crowd interaction, speakers, inductees, and the actual game and fireworks and of course the cheerleaders.
We just finished up with a private dinner fundraiser for Senator Sherrod Brown. We shot in Allen and Christine Schulman’s beautiful home in Canton Ohio.
Connie Schultz
Lots of great photo opportunities…. including the Senator wife Connie Schultz.
We were commissioned to shoot some controversal photography for a current magazine in the Cleveland - Akron area last month. The article was just published and here are a few samples of my work.
I had done some testing before this shoot. Coming up with some very grainy shots…. which you may have seen
on my facebook page…. I think it was a little to much and the final shots the artist used worked out well.
We had a lot of fun and got some great shots of some exciting people at a recent United Way campaign shoot. We set up a studio on location and just kept the people coming thru.
We photographed all ages and everyone brought their A game.
One of my favorite subjects to photograph are people. People on the job, lifestyle, in the studio, or at their higher educational institutes. We recently had the opportunity to shoot at a trade school located outside greater Cleveland, Ohio. These kids and adults are working towards learning a trade to improve themselves and net worth.
On a lighter side (no pun intended) we did some promotional, web and collateral work for a private school just after the kids went on summer vacation. We asked some of the students to come in and pose for a few shots. Although the weather was hot the kids hung in there and we were able to pull off some great shots.
It’s that time of year again and we just finished shooting the DMSA Awards Ceremony.
The Distinguished Marketing & Sales Awards where held at the Renaissance Hotel by Sales and Marketing Executives of Cleveland. Always a great networking event with the award winners and their entourage. This years Business executive of the year was Sandy Cutler of Eaton. “Sandy” and SME event chair Bob Dracon handed out awards to numerous winners including: Adam Chafe or Sherwin-Williams, Mike Malley of Crains Cleveland, John Martin of Colortone staging, and Stuart Weitzman of the Cleveland Clinic.
We start out shooting the cocktail hour and then we have our lights set up in a separate room for the big group shot. After dinner it’s time to hand out those glass
awards.
I’ve been busy the last few weekends offering my services to friends and client with my event photography. Family outing, celebrations, weddings are always fun…. especially if you have a camera floating around or actually hire a professional photographer.
I had the opportunity to shoot with a local production company recently.
They were shooting video B roll for a commercial. The idea was to use
available talent and show people enjoying the outdoor patio of a near by
restaurant. We had to start shooting after closing time so it was a late
night. Lot of fun and some great shots. If it looks like everyone was enjoying
themselves it’s because they were.
The shots that I did will be used for print or website collateral. Much higher resolution then anything you could pull from the video.
